Sketch of the Week: Linocut study

Today's sketch is for a linocut I have yet to complete:

Once again, we're at Bottomless Lakes, and you may actually remember this scene from a previous sketch. For this drawing, I redrew the original sketch and posterized the values in order to map out the different blocks I would need for the color linocut. I actually started carving it a few months ago, but I got distracted by other things. I'm still attached to the idea though, so maybe I'll get back to it.
