I sketched this one evening as I was driving home from Bitter Lake, which is located at the end of Pine Lodge Road. This wasn't a sketch I did on site, but one I did from memory after I got home. I liked the contrast between the linear silhouette of the phone line poles and the watercolor-esque sky behind it. It reminded me somewhat of a colorized version of a lithograph by Louis Lozowick, which features power lines against a cloudy sky.
