Sketch of the Week

Today's sketch is a development from an earlier sketch I did of a rhino at the San Diego Zoo.

At the suggestion of family and friends, I've decided to do something with this drawing, and have come up with a preliminary design for an etching and aquatint:

I'll explain what's going on the background once I get going on this project (yes, it's more than a plethora of lines), but for now, I just wanted to show you that I do listen to your comments.
