Sketch of the Week: Summer Bouquet

I had a couple of good friends over for dinner for other night, and much to my surprise and delight, they brought me some flowers that they had picked from their yard:

I adored their warm, bright hues, and wanted to capture them before they wilted. I'd like to go back and do a contour drawing of the sunflower, but at least for now I've gotten the wonderful colors.
