The iris have all but passed from the Roswell botanical scene, but with spring having commenced in earnest, there are other flowers eagerly sprouting to take their place. Case in point: hollyhocks. I've always loved these old-fashioned flowers. They're the perfect adornment to a charming seaside cottage, or, as I've seen in Santa Fe, a quaint little adobe.
