My mother's Christmas ornaments span a variety of genres: generic secular holiday figures such as Santa and reindeer, to magi and shepherds, southwestern motifs such as roadrunners and cacti, and of course, quintessential New England. Since my previous drawing focused on more southwestern ornaments, for this sketch I assembled more of the classic Maine motifs: lobsters, buoys, and old boxy houses.
