Over the course of the summer my landlady has been planting a variety of flowers around the various properties to ensure that we all have colorful blooms throughout the season. Most recently, she's lined the front of the house with geraniums, two red and a pink one to be precise. I liked the shape of one of the red ones, so I naturally had to draw it:
I've drawn geraniums before, but I've never done anything with them beyond sketching. I should though, as I like the shapes of their leaves. Barbara Latham did a woodcut of geraniums I really appreciate; maybe some day I'll work up the nerve to do one myself.
