When it comes to working in museums, a common phrase that floats around is "wearing many hats." Especially in smaller institutions, you end up doing a lot of things outside of your immediate job description, as is the case with today's sketch:
We recently had a murder mystery fundraiser at the Museum, which revolved around the death, appropriately enough of an acerbic art critic (played by me). The painting she had come to assess was the dubious work Black Cat at Midnight by Impressionist painter Pete Casso (if you haven't guessed, bad puns abound in these skits). We needed a painting for the show, so I used Gustave as a model and whipped this up. Although this is a work on canvas rather than a drawing, I only spent an hour on it so in my books it counts as a sketch.
