Sketch of the Week: Porch Roses

While it may not feel like spring in much of the country right now, the classic signs of the season are all here in New Mexico, including fluctuating temperatures, budding trees, and most importantly, relentless wind:

Flowers are also beginning to make their appearance, including the roses on my front porch. These particular blooms have a light purple color that's very pretty, and complements the dark green leaves well. I drew a couple of these blooms from my bedroom window, as it was too blustery to go out. Gustave would have yelled at me anyway.
