Sketch of the Week: Celebratory Carnations

With my move to Virginia officially commencing tomorrow, I've been spending most of my time packing rather than sketching. Last Friday, however, I sat down to draw these carnations that I'd been given at a going-away party. I particularly liked the rich purple hue of the flowers:

I head out on the road tomorrow first thing, so this may be the last new sketch for a while. Enjoy the blooms!
