A few years ago I'd drawn a sketch of several dove feathers I'd collected and placed in a tin I was using for spare change. The tin, in turn, had been decorated with a pattern of a Swedish textile I'd cut from a design magazine. At one point I had the idea of taking this sketch and turning into a linocut, and even drew this preliminary study...
...which was as far as I got. I still think it has potential though, so I might revisit it in the future.
