Sketch of the Week

A few months ago, I shared with you a sketch that I'd done of a dead starling I'd found near my apartment. As it turns out, that was not the only drawing I did of it. I spent one evening making several careful drawings of its various feathers, in order to note different patterns and shapes:

I haven't done anything with these drawings yet. I still think the patterns would make for an interesting print, but now that I've started working with clay, I'm contemplating that possibility too. What do you think?
